This design was completed almost entirely with GIMP (Gnu Image Manipulation Program), a Berkeley Free Software Development program. It’s intention is as a meditation and healing tool for those who are actively undergoing treatment for any form of cancer.  10/23/2008

This image also contains space to write names or draw maps of up to 8 destinations that you may wish to go.  Choose carefully!  Your positive intention may help bring the trip of your dreams to fruition.  After you have made your plans, carry a copy of this design with you to manifest safety and happiness throughout your journey.  It was started on our plane ride to Hawaii in the fall of 2007, continued during the sleepless wee hours of the morning on the Big Island, and finished in our home on the eve of our next big trip, to Mardi Gras!  2/1/2008

Prayers, good thoughts, and healing energies have been placed into this particular image, designed specifically to assist victims of the devastating wildfires in Southern California.  I believe that Healing Art in general and Healing Mandalas in particular can be therapeutic not only for the artist, but also for the viewers.  Together, we may even be able to help the victims of natural disasters and other tragedies!

It seems that 2 of the greatest feelings and actions are fused together with these two concepts.   What’s better than gratitude, a thank you?  It’s a great way to acknowledge and share the genuine bond that comes from true generosity, the unselfish kind.  We say Thank You every day, and with each repetition of the phrase, we find a new opportunity to truly mean “Thank You.”  If we utter the phrase with meaning and feeling, an indescribable change comes over us.  Use this healing mandala as a tool for meditation, knowing that you are connected to all of the people who are sharing it, and using it for themselves as well!  1/27/2008

Home Rule 9/2008

  The primary purpose of this mandala is to promote a strong and independent household.  Hang it up somewhere in your personal space, and let the vibrations sink in to the walls and foundation of your home.

    In addition to the sovereignty of the individual dwelling place, “Home Rule” is about the importance of strong local governance.  If we promote and defend our own “local” ways of life amidst current global communications capabilities, we preserve individuality and diversification and ensure greater respect for our personal beliefs and ways of life. 9/1/2008

The primary intention of this Healing Mandala is for spiritual health and the interconnectedness of all beings, specifically the newborn babies who possess a copy of it and the energy field they share!

This piece is designed to stimulate the conscious and subconscious mind to discover the unique wisdom of each individual who uses it.  The potential for self-discovery is the greatest gift we can hope to possess.  Independent power is one of the fruits of that discovery.  We are all energetically linked with the intention of this mandala - to access the personal power and independence that exists within us all.  9/29/2007

It is often a challenge to truly be exactly where we are.  Our minds wander as the outside world draws attention away from our bodies.  There are unfathomable miracles contained within ever particle of space, both surrounding us and within.  The difficulty is in continually striving to recognize and embody this fact; mindfulness in the now gives us the key to truly living, and maximizing our personal, human experience.  9/20/2007

Original sizes range from 4 inches square to 16x20 inches.  I can do a commission (request for a specific piece, made-to-order), with a particular intention, color scheme request, motif, or pure intuition, and those rates are negotiable, depending on size (avg. 8x8 inch = $250), plus mat & frame = add $50 + shipping.  I will keep a scan of the original, and reserve the right to make unlimited prints for my own use, for sale or display.

Standard size color prints, including mat & frame are $20-$100, plus shipping cost. 

I do postcard/coaster size prints of these designs on cardstock, if you like the smaller, non-framed size.  The image on the front is approximately 4"x 4" to 4"x6" and a full paragraph of description is on the back.  I could bundle several of those together (a random assortment, or your choice) and I ask just $2 apiece.  If you buy at least 5, shipping is FREE!

This was a wedding present for my wife, Kate.  It represents the two of us, energetically compatible, fused in one place, and in all others contributing commonality to ourselves, each other and the world.  8/1/2006
